Social Inclusion Week is from the 5th November to 12th November 2012. It is a programme of events high lighting the diversity and creativity of people in South Dublin County. It is an opportunity for people to learn new skills, share ideas and participate in their community. A Hansel and Gretel Cottage complete with felt feely windows will encourage children to poke their hand through in the anticipation of discovering a sweet treat or scary trick. 27th October Thrill The World
Panic on the streets of Dublin; ‘Thrill The World’ a spooktacular family day out, in aid of The Carers Association comes to Dublin on Saturday 27th of October. Ghost, Ghouls and Dancing Zombies will take over the Basketball Arena in Tallaght from 6.00 p.m. with live music,DJ sets, tributes to Michael Jackson and an attempt to break a world record. All proceeds from the event will go to The Carers of Ireland, a organisation who provide much needed support for family carer’s around the country. On the day there will be live music from P Starz, Genetic and many many more up and coming home grown artists. DJ Dave will keep the party atmosphere alive and at 8p.m a flashmob are going to attempt to break the World Record for Most People (Living or Dead) dancing to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller”.
